Below are samples of some of my other writing.

A Week in the Life of an Outsider

I can’t wait.
It will be great.
I can’t concentrate.
Why try to think?
It’s here.
This is great.
I wish they would see me.
They won’t see me.
Why does this happen?
People will notice me tomorrow.

He’ll greet me.
Why doesn’t he talk?
I’m trying.
He won’t listen.
What can I do?
People will probably notice me tomorrow.

They’ll sit with me.
Where are they going?
What do they mean?
I don’t understand.
People have to notice me tomorrow.

We’re going tonight.
I can’t wait.
It’s finally time.
Where is she?
She’ll be here soon.
She forgot me.
I don’t want to believe.
Everyone makes mistakes.
People will hopefully notice me tomorrow.

This class is my favorite.
Why doesn’t he call on me?
Can he see me?
What more can I do?
People probably won’t notice me tomorrow.

They’ll tell me the plans.
They’re just finalizing.
I wonder when they’ll call.
They better decide.
It’s too late.
No one’s home.
They left.
Why did I hope?
People won’t notice me tomorrow.

I’ll just stay home.
They don’t know me.
No one cares.
My room is nice.
I’ll just watch.
Animals don’t fight.
People will ruin my tomorrow.

Galaxies at Bedtime
Stars dance around me,
Trees and wind sing a lullaby,
House breathes and sighs,
I listen to the song.

Tomorrow beckons as today turns out the light,
Yesterday tells a story as I become drowsy,
Eyes shut as the universe opens up,
This is my place in the dance.

Stress becomes a memory,
Laughter is born from pain,
Sleep tucks me in and reminds me,
All is well.
